Hello

Some 20 years ago I had the pleasure of driving from NY to LA to MIAMI to NY with 3 student nurses in a large RV. Yes that was some great trip. Now I am planning to do the trip again and wonder whether anyone could tell me if there are enough hotspots to keep in touch with my domains whilst im travelling ?.
Would be great to meet some domainers on route as well.

The only thing I got from that was "3 student nurses"

Yes...domains..."3 student nurses" ..."RV"..."3 stu...."

If you're doing the original trip..I'm on..all the way from Cali to Manhattan...I'll even give you a decent CVCV.com for that...

:D

P.S.
Please don't tell me the nurses were male.

Lol, no they were definately female !!. Gone are those days unfortunately, that ranked the best holidays ive ever had. Besides the girls it really was a great trip from seeing Elvis's place to i5 from SF down to LA ,just dreaming.

Back to business. Are there enough wireless hotspots en route to keep in touch do you reckon ?.

So, this thread is about driving across country in an RV with 3 female student nurses?

As for hotspots, I think most Starbucks are hot spots but if you're planning for it to be a long time, why not look into getting a wireless card with good speeds? Depending on network and connection, CDMA (Verizon & Sprint) can give you speeds around 600kbpS to 1.5MbpS (I don't know about GSM networks, though).

It might be a little expensive but could be worth it to have a constant connection.

Yes good thinking network card could be way to go. Now all ive got to do is find an RV I can rent for a few months at reasonable cost (oh and 3 nurses !).

Definition of a true domainer:

Someone who drives around the entire U.S. in an RV with 3 student nurses, but thinks exclusively about "keeping in touch with his domains".

A wireless card is the best route to go. You can pick up a connection while you are driving down the highway through most states. If you pay a little extra for a good card then you can get service anywhere a cell phone would work.
