When I was in college, I wrote a check to Randalls for groceries. i thought my check would hit my account the next night. well it did but the new electronic thing was faster.

It was for 87-90 dollars and I was super embarrassed so I just plead out.

Having extensive PayPal buying and selling experience, a dispute occurs only when the replying party (in this case, you) disagrees with the person claiming a dispute. If you do not contend the dispute, PayPal merely releases the funds to the person who sent the funds.

A lingering dispute means, you are contesting the claims of the OP who sent you funds.

100% correct, My question now to Patty is; Why haven't you approved the release?

This thread could of been avoided by releasing the money early, It's really sad that it had to come to this.

I also think Patty made a huge mistake by injecting her personal life and problems into this, It really has no place.

State of Texas will arrest you if you bounce checks. It says so everywhere.

It does in California, The DA prosecutes bad check writers... If you dont pay the Check and the fine, + attend Bad Check School, a warrant is issued for your arrest.

Rick Latona mentioned the domains he brokered on dnjournal all the time. I am sure you would be able to come up with a good domain name you brokered if you really are an expert domain broker as you made such impression on people.

When? before or after things went bad?

If you offered a 100% refund prior to entering into a agreement with him, you owe him 100%. You cant offer 100% initially and then say your going to give a partial because of time invested, It doesn't work that way.

If you had an agreement and you abided by that agreement, you could post it here and nobody would be questioning right now,

Here's the full story.
Basically I saw her and wanted to be friends with her on dnforum. After a while progresses she asked me for help build backlinks for her. She promised $50 dollars per week while I build backlink for her.
It's been months at least 2 or 3 month which is like 8 to 12 weeks of payment owed. She kept repeating paypal froze my account. Or some how she makes up a excuse saying just file me a invoice and I'll pay.
A few weeks after she wanted site developemnt. I was going to continue then before that I asked for down payment (very very smart). of 50%. I opened a invoice this time and every week she would say next monday next tuesday next thursday. I never bloodly recieved the down payment so I never started.
I actually recieved $28 dollars for the few months I built backlinks for. Then I went on msn and asked her. This was few day ago's converstion:

i'll let this run for about 2 more weeksI actually trusted her very much. I also have her on facebook.
Now i know why i never recieved the money. I always said possibly next day next week I'll recieve all the money she owes me. But no I never once saw the money. Only 28.50 dollars for the 900 backlinks i built over the few months.

She owes me around $500-$600 or possibly more but she only paid me $28.50

Ugh.
