Hey all,

I am looking to buy a LL.org but I have no idea where to begin negotiations.

I know FL.org went for 33k, MT.org for 25k, ZZ.org for 23k, FM.org for 18k. But there was also GY.org which went for only 6k earlier this year.

The LL.org that I am going after has 2 premium letters.

Are the LL.org's that are selling for like 20 - 30k all enduser sales? I guess what I am asking is what is the average resale value of a LL.org?

I highly appreciate all responses.

hey steve

let me share this with you...

any LL .org net or com that you can get, will be premium!

there are only so many in circulation

he's how i see it...

for sure there won't be any new letters added to the alphabet, but there's always a chance a new country will be born or renamed.

Don raises a good point about the limited supply and the increasing demand for LL domains, so they are definitely a sound long-term investment.

With respect to valuations, $40,000 is about the current top of the market, but many have sold for under 10k.

For reference, here are some prominent sales:

Wv.org 38.5k
We.org 36.5k
Du.org 28.5k
Nt.org 25k
Li.org 22,895
Bb.org 20k
Fm.org 18k
Mo.org 18k
Jv.org 14k
Og.org 7.6k
Wg.org 6.5k

Good luck.

Thanks Rob, Don and Kevin.

Kevin by any chance do you know when Og.org and Wg.org were sold?

Is it just me or are LL.org's selling for a lot more than LL.net's? I guess I could understand this in a way. If an enduser is an Organization they will obviously probably go after the .org. But if its a company then more than likely they would go after the .com even if the .net is a cheaper. I think LL.net's are probably just being resold in the domain market. There is probably a better chance that the .com and .org extensions would reach endusers more so than .net.

I can see why .org is more expensive when it comes to two letter names, .org isn't a second choice for many hmm, well, organisations - .net always is. .org also has the "trust" factor – people trust .org websites.

What's strange is 3 letter .nets are more expensive than 3 letter .orgs.

Kevin by any chance do you know when Og.org and Wg.org were sold?

I sold OE.org for about $6K maybe a year ago. No one wanted it!
I think they have risen in value (like most everything else) since then...

I just bought one through sedo. I think I got a good deal... hopefully lol. Just waiting for the name to be transfered to me.

Chappy, you OE.org sale makes me a bit nervous lol.

I think I saw a LL.org on the auction list for the live snapnames event so it will be interesting to see what it sells for.
