Any opinions as to the value of NNNN mobi's that don't spell anything?

My guess is these are next to go after the LLL's. A ton went with landrush already but there are still lots available.

No idea on the value, but i already bought about 3-4% of the NNNN registry.

I also think NNNN will be the next to sell out, since there are about half as many NNNN as there are LLL..

Why would anyone ever want NNNN.mobi ?????
I dont know, but i know if i wait to find out, it will already be too late.

If anyone wants to buy out NNNN there are about 5000-6000 left i believe....be my guest, i sure am not man enough to do it.. only to cherrypick the good ones.

I thought the LLL's would take a few more months to disapear... I guess its plausible the same could happen to NNNN's overnight.

Makes sense to hedge yourself with numbers that can spell something... but as far as the numbers that don't?

Most of the ones i bought dont spell anything, they are just patterns or counting type numbers..

could be a stupid decision in the end but so could buying numbers that spell things.. nobody knows if that is actually a good idea either.. honestly cant see how either idea will be worth anything to an end user.... some type of phone numbers maybe--thats pretty far fetched tho imo

imo, the spelling thing is crazy. it won't happen.
people will want to enter words, when they open the browser on their phone it reverts to letters instantly. try it
however the right memorable numbers are very attractive . to look at & to business.
for insurance for example there is a company hastings 1066, they may have tmed the 1066 one, i did check & it had gone. it's also a momentous date in British history. there's all sorts of variants for numbers. like 54321, is just nice & can imagine on adverts for example.
some will definitely get type in traffic too from just playing around. i hope the number same as letter thing works out for those who regged, but i just can't see that one.

These threads keep costing me money!
There was a NNNN i was gonna reg on the first day. It was still there so just regged it. Kronenbourg regged the com in '96. I'm sure they'd love to have this in a year or two!
It's NNNN so don't see how i can be touched. I won't park it. It's a historic date. :yo:

I agree, it's a long-shot.

But, look at the text messaging (CSC) common short codes system. If you watch the current game show, (brainless), but wildly popular "DEAL OR NO DEAL", you are bombarded with offers to send a txt msg to 59595. The txt msg short code instead of a 10 digit phone number.

These numbers are appearing ads everywhere. Exxon-Mobil uses
ROADS (76237)

It is possible that .mobi will use a numerical short cut system also.

More info at:http://www.usshortcodes.com/csc_about.html

I know it's speculation, but I don't have 200K to invest at the moment.

Good Luck to all .mobi believers!

I'm a .mobi believer, i've got about 80 now, was gonna stop regging. Traffic auction saw end to that! LOL
It's just that everything won't work that's all.
In terms of texting & calling, i thought as people have a phone in their hand they will ring!
I could have regged 0870 & 0845 as were free (0870 is national rate calls) (0845 cheap rate in england) but thought pointless really. Maybe some value to people who sell those phone numbers i guess. Not for me really.
We all have our own criteria. Who says i'm right? Who knows.

It will depend a lot on the future interfaces. Probablly a long shot but like I said, hedging yourself with it isn't a bad idea either. I don't think having grabbed something like 7676.mobi (porn.mobi) is a bad idea.

I own 7676.com and can assure you that 7676.mobi is a beauty...interestingly the guy that owns 739.com got 7676.mobi in the landrush!

8255 (talk) .mobi

This is the only NNNN that I have. I am hoping that NNNN's do grow in popularity. I think we'll have our answer over the next few weeks.

Pool keeps sending a few NNNN's out on their "hotlist". For example;

9394.mobi
0214.mobi
2359.mobi
1397.mobi
1231.mobi

Don't think they will get the 150k but they seem to be thinking in a similar way.
