Remember that domains often sell for much higher at Sedo and other domain markets, than they would ever sell for in a domain forum. Not saying that is necessarily the case here, but don't value your domain by the max you could get for it in a forum. Look at the extreme example of camroulette.com, would that have ever sold for close to 150k in a forum? I and probably lots of others have listed names on here for xx and xxx price range, that have sold later to outsiders for xxxx or more.

If I were you, I'd pay 2k as well, it's a nice domain name with great potential.

Yeah could say that with any domain,i always remember a domainer on here asking for an appraisal and got reg fee to $100 and then he tells us he sold it for $17.5K,the problem is there is no value on a domain,nobody can value a domain,i have seen great domains go cheap on sedo as well....

definitely not worth $2000 and if you have to develop it to get value than you know you overpaid
