Just got two of these, due to two accounts!

NO! I did not contact GD to reset my password!

Information to Reset Your Password

Dear Valued GoDaddy.com, Inc. Customer,

Thank you for contacting us to set your password. Below you will find your Authorization Code. This code is valid for ONE USE ONLY and will EXPIRE 2 HOURS from the time it was issued.

If your Authorization Code expires or if it becomes invalid and you require a new one, you will need to return to the Account Manager log in page, click the "retrieve my password" link, then select "Reset Password" and request a new one.

Your Authorization Code is: 02ADA29B-0AE2-42E8-BB6E-3882423061AD

To set your password:
1. Click here
2. Enter your Customer Number.
3. The Authorization Code from the email message automatically populates in the Auth Code field.
4. Enter and confirm a new password.
5. Enter a Password Hint.
6. Click "Continue" to set your password.

NOTE: If clicking the link doesn't work, copy and paste the entire link into your browser's address bar.

If you have further problems logging in, contact our support department at [email protected] or (480) 505-8877.

Sincerely,
GoDaddy.com, Inc.

If you are getting these, there is either a wide spread attempt to hi-jack accounts or someone is trying to gain access to my accounts.

Anyone else getting these emails?

Neither account has been breached.

A glitch in GD's system? sending out password resets when I did not ask for them?

no issues with my account, someone is trying to hack your domains! Get GD to investigate the IP address of the user who requested a password reset!

Well, if these are not going out then it must be an isolated issue.

Will contact GD and see if someone could trace the request.

Was trying to find the post by Adam, but godaddy can activate a feature where they will call you on the phone & ask for a security code before any transfer or push can take place. Call your rep!

Sent all the information to my account exec.

Looks like I may have to request a user name change.

This is the downside to sites like Domain Tools...too much information is presented, such as how many domains are associated with a certain name or address or entity.

I don't use their services and never will, just because of that one tool that gives scammers access to your assets using your email!

Do a check on discussions you recently had, and see if any replied back harshly to your comments... scammers are idiots with low IQ level! Sometimes you can track them down!

Good Luck

Account exec called back and related that nothing appeared out of the norm. Most likely it was someone with an account number similar to mine but off a number or two.

I am too.

There have been so many threads started lately regarding domain theft with a large number of them being at GoDaddy.
