Finding end-users tends to be the most challenging aspect of domain investing. While it can be difficult to find interested buyers for these domains, we are working on a solution. We are about to launch of Dexbrand.com, a new service that connects end-users looking for specific domain names with domain owners like yourself. We are just starting the project and it may take at least a couple of months to be at full speed, but you can already subscribe to our newsletter to get the domain request alerts.

Our domain request service allows end-users to place requests for specific domain names, and as a subscribed domain owner, you will receive alerts about these requests. This means that you will have the opportunity to sell your domains to interested buyers who are actively searching for them.

We understand that as a domain owner, your portfolio is an important asset, and we want to help you make the most of it. By subscribing to our service, you can potentially increase your sale rate.

We invite you to visit our website, Dexbrand.com, to learn more about our service and to register to receive alerts. Don't miss out on the opportunity to connect with interested buyers and increase the value of your portfolio. We look forward to working with you.

As stated, our service is in its beta phase, therefore, please, excuse any site glitches or errors.

Its a good idea - what do you charge for your services?
Great idea
How is this different than what Godaddy or any of the other existing services offer? You own a domain, a prospective buyer sees it registered with GoDaddy, and contact with interest to buy? How will the new site be different in finding and connecting buyers/sellers?
I think they will do outbound marketing. Godaddy only do passive brokering ie they wait for someone to enquire about a domain and then negotiate

Hello,

Thanks for your comment and question.

“We charge a 20% fee for domains sold under $5K and 15% for any name sold over $5K. Once the parties agree on a price, we initiate a third party transaction on Escrow.com.”

Feel free to take a look at our FAQ section under the Domain Sellers tab for answers to a few more questions or let us know if you have any other doubts.

Thanks

Hello,

Thanks for the question. The main difference is that when end-users reach out to us, we will contact all the domain investors that have subscribed to our newsletter and present them with the details of the request.

In addition, we will be contacting potential end-users, through advertising and direct marketing to attract them to the platform.

In the future, we will also planning to add a membership platform where the subscribers (domain investors) will see the request on the site.

Thanks

If I'm understanding correctly, the platform may receive a "I need a plumbing domain" vs. I need this specific plumbing domain?

I posted this here in DNF the other day, in case you have interest in possible site features/services

"I need a plumbing domain"

That’s correct. We are focusing on the type or category of domain wanted.

Now, if someone is looking for the specific domain, we would also take the request.

Thanks
