There is simply NOTHING to understand. WHOIS Privacy is a service. It is NOT a right in any sense of the word.Anyway...Jurisdictions and Subpoena's... I'm not a US citerzen yet dynadot resides in US..so I don't stand a chance...
Knowing this, Dynadot would capitulate to ANY SUBPOENA in ANY language for ANY court of law. A domain registrar is NOT in a position to ignore, question, or fight a subpoena. The fight is yours and NO registrar is going to fight your battles.
You are making wrong assumptions about citizenship issues that are non-issues in this case.
