Sorry for the "software" spelling. On a strange, old and worn out keyboard at work.

Hey Snoopy,

Frontpage is alright, you just have to know how to handle it. LOL

Domaindirk, check out 1st page 2000 at http://www.evrsoft.com/products/ - it's free and not bad imo.

But if you have the money, you can't go far wrong with dreamweaver and fireworks.

I highly recommend Pico. Or for you Windows users, Notepad. :D

Why's that, snoops? Which features does FP lack?

mole, I always found it added a huge amount of extra code which seemed to make pages very incompatible with netscape.

I won't be surprised if that's deliberate :D

To ensure your published pages are compatible with Netscape, go to Page Options > Compatibility > Both Internet Explorer and Navigator.

The earlier versions of FP were a bit of a pain - simple things like not being able select and delete multiple files, toggling between pages.

FP 2002 has solved all those problems, and it includes SharePoint as a bonus.

But this version has that irritating one installation per license copy protection. So it kinda sucks, as I had to buy one copy for use in the office and one for use at home.
