I'm trying to buy good Dublin domains (an idea suggested to me by a member of the forum) and also really like 5L.coms, even if most see no value in them at the moment.

Four letter .com's are getting slaughtered at the moment apart from pronounceable ones, concentrate on nice pronounceable 5 letter .com's and you will do well ;-) eventually !

I tend to disagree about the four letter .com's I have about 3000 of them and have sold 4 over 5k in the last month, all what most would consider non-pronouncable.

Thanks, but I hope I have enough time for that 'eventually,' lol. Yes, I'm only regging pronouncables or those which otherwise make sense (like askgp or bizvu.)

I am not into LLLL that much but other members who are must be asking what your secret is?

Sometimes it's patience and sometimes it aggressively going after end users.

Same here. I have been catching a lot of .us names on the drop lately. They are great for getting Yahoo traffic so i develop some the others will either wait their turn or get an offer i would feel is a good one to sell it for.

It seems that i collect Ivory Coast domains  as i have IvoryCoast.xy in a few extensions, even have Cote d ivoire:lol:

But i like to collect top keywords in ccTLDs, i had a solid collecion of property.ccTLDs, but now left with only one after i sold the rest.

I would like to have collection of LL.coms, but i am not that calibre:smilewinkgrin::smilewinkgrin:

I disagree. Four letter .com's with premium letters are great moneymakers. I sold a quad-premium LLLL.com last week for $1,250 to an end-user. I paid $100 for it a couple of weeks before. This happens frequently, just have enough of them in your portfolio and make sure they are exposed on Sedo/Afternic etc.

If you can get quad-premiums in the low $1xx range, buy them and sit on them. If you've owned them for a few months with no end-user inquires, throw them out on the reseller market and swap them out with new ones. Rinse and repeat.

LLLL.coms are awesome IMHO.
