Not that this will resolve "this" situation, but it may ease the buyers concerns. I have dealt with Ali several times in regards to .CA deals and each time was a success. I can also vouch for the fact he has had some tough health issues of late.


I hope this can get resolved amicably.

And to all of you, if you were in my shoes, having a 3 day ebay transaction in your hand and seeing a nasty slander post, trust me, you will be really really offended, not to mention, your whois and tips on harrassing and outright lies from discredited posters. Its outrageous.

I said a week, because I was not aware of the exact length of time, I just knew it had been a good while. Ebay has a 7 day policy for a complaint, but that is not a 'take 7 days' suggestion.

It simply means, if I do not mention a delivery period, I will have 7 days grace period to redeem myself. Read the policy.

As stated in my original post, why should I have to wait. Eveyone else completes deals promptly..

What is more a statement in your email worries me: "I will wait to get a confirmation of your hosting registration under my link before proceeding otherwise we would deem the sale void."

You state 7 days is the delivery period, no it is not unless your directly specify in your auction (which you did not). That is the official complaint date. The delivery period os 24 hours max!

You are actually reversing this; if you read the policy and stop complaining, it says that the buyer will have 7 days to respond AFTER 7 days has passed since auction inception, that means 14 days. Only if I mention a specific day of delivery am I bound by it, and I think you agree to that, and if you don't , then think of legal agreements and timelines in contracts... WHERE IN THE WORLD DID YOU GET 24 hours?

Firstly it was 5 days, I already stated I said a week because i couldnt be bothered to look at timings. My mistake. You have, however, yet to give a decent reason why it didnt take 24 hours. It is not such that you have to wait 7 days before transferring, and you know that.

You dont sell 500,000 items. You have sold 23 in your whole time on ebay. LOL. You will more than likely not be selling any more domains As who would want to buy from you.

There is no legal obligation for a 24 hour transaction, but when there is no reason not to..

Lastly, why should I have at any points taken this private? I know why you wanted to, because you didnt want people knowing you were a scammer.

I am not commenting on how this turned out, but what I would like to comment on is this thread. It was premature no doubt about that. Sometimes it takes a few days for deals to happen, sometimes longer. People have other business dealings, etc and cannot always complete a deal in a day or two or three. it happens. if everyone created threads like this when a sale hasnt been completed yet this forum would be littered with these types of threads and no one would be doing business with anyone anymore.

This has gone far enough, I'm closing this thread for the following reasons:

1) It is not a DNF transaction so DNF cannot get involved with it.
2) There seems to be no clear end in sight and the thread is just going downhill.

The parties involved can take it up in private though PM, email, phone calls, etc..
