I know after submission it takes 24-72 hours to change. But at what times does verisign actually propigate those changes. Anyone know.
PLEASE HELP
It is depending on what time you change your domain name server. Not the fixed time to refresh it. It is only my opinions. Name server is only responce when you want to request. There are the authoritative and non-authoritative type domain name servers. Depending on what your domain name server type.npunatar said:i mean usually does it happen at 11pm pst or what???
Basically, it means it takes the TTL (in seconds) after the DNS record is changed for it to propogate.Stonesoup said:No one will know that.
But if you can see the config file at verisign dns server, It almost call named.conf ( /etc/named.conf)
There is a field call [Time-To-Tive]TTL, it is displayed as seconds.
eg: TTL = 259200, it means 3 days
In my experiences, almost 12 hours will be OK!
Good Luck!
