I recall there being a site that sold handpicked names every day in tiers of $100-$500.

I don't seem to remember if it was an auction where it went from 500 to 400 to 300 until it was bought or if it were just fixed prices.

Does anyone recall this site as they seemed to have a huge portfolio?

Does anybody remember or know of this?

It had 5 blocks on the front page of around ten $500, ten $400, ten $300, ten $200, and ten $100 domain names in a Dutch-style auction where the next day (or week) $500 would move to $400 with a fresh group replacing the $500 names and the $100 would drop off the face of the earth for the time being.

I want to say that it was a HugeDomains service, but not certain...

Hi

the only site that had "dutch style" auction i know of, was "clubdrop", which was an enom.com product that later became namejet.

prices started at $240 and dropped over time to $5, if not purchased within that range and before the close of auction.

before that, maybe you're thinking of the old afternic > Afternic Buy and Sell Domain Names (archive.org)

imo....

No, it was a black background with 5 boxes of domains from 500 to 100 and you could BIN them at any time for those prices only. After 100, they were gone. But, you could BIN at 500 or risk it and try to get it at 400 (some did go quick).

Somewhat like this (ignore the 500 as they'd decrease to 100 but didn't want to take 400, 300, etc. and take much time replicating it).

I hope that's still going as there were quality names...
