I moved to Moniker when they had "domainer friendly prices", and today I was surprised to see that I am being charged for a .com paid by Paypal $9.35.

anyone else had their prices increased without warning?

so I think it's time to move on.
What do you suggest?

I have been looking at Dynadot, since they have $7.99 on .com domain names if you spend $500/a year there (and with a few hundred domain names, I obviously will).
One more thing I like it's the fact that hey have an API, so I can build my own apps around it- does anyone use it?

any other registrars you can recommend?

Dynadot + Fabulous.
But I think I pay less at Moniker (around $8), ask for the best pricing.
Keep in mind that Verisign has increased the rates and the margins are very low.

I like Dynadot, and you can still "taste" domains there.
I haven't used fabulous in years, but I recall the control panel being a pain.

I have high recommendations for Bari; she responded to my Moniker escrow inquiry at like 9pm last night, definitely outside normal business hours. Many thanks, Bari.
