What's the cheapest way for a U.S. citizen to register other country code domains?

I'm thinking of registering some .ca, and .de domains, but they require that you reside in their country and provide such an address. I suppose I could make up an appropriate address, but I don't want to risk losing the domain later. Is there any CHEAP way to do this legitimately?

Lately, I registered a lot of .de domains. I had a property in germany , I own that but i have never been to germany, it is my family's properly in the late years.

So i had no problems. For .ca , I had asked a friend from Quebec to help me. Just post here in this forum You will pay them 10 $ extra if they let you use their home address and phone number for domain registration (someone trustable). People will grab this offer.

Sorry, but why would using a friend's address makes this more "legitimate"?

Why would I trust someone who lets others use his home address and phone numbers (or those of his parents) for $10?? Moreover, having a Canadian ADDRESS does NOT make your "ownership" secure.
