I was thinking of the point of life.

I am not a religious person and for me if you die, you just disappear. In that case, why on earth, I am doing things to make money more or less on daily basis. Finally we all have to leave the money and everything behind and it doesn't matter I am millionaire or billionaire, we all have to die at one point.

I don't think I am depressed but thinking about the point of life makes me feel like wanting to just disappear but we have family which is strong protective factors preventing doing silly things.

We have senses and have to work hard to satisfy those senses and now I gave up finding the point of life. Feel like we are surviving just to keep the society going taking a small part. May be there is no point of living in a real sense if you think about individually at the end.

What's your opinion?

"The object of all life is development; and everything that lives has an inalienable right to all the development it is capable of attaining" - Wallace D Wattles

Money is just a sloppy measurement tool of personal development, but not the only one.

Ok but what's the point of development if there is no point of life in the real sense. You work hard for many years to develop but in the end, you will have to leave everything.

I think the answer you're looking for is entropy. From a universal sense, you're a catalyst, and yes, merely just that. The material things you work for every day have no meaning.

From a metaphysical perspective, your consciousness is the only thing that you know exists and this post is just a figment of your imagination. In that case, you're free to create whatever you wish.

What is the point of experiecning life if life itself has no point in real sense?

Human Commonsense is irrelevant!

Remember this: The entire Human history on this Planet compared to the existence of the Universe doesn't add up to a second! Compare a Human life! Life is Life! Before you know it, you will be in another body asking the same questions!

The point of life? You have to give me its X, Y and Z coordinates first :D

Lemme make it easy,... "0,0,0",... plus what you want to add to it, or take away from it.

Life is the thing that happens between birth and death. It is up to you to determine how you will enjoy that thing.

The beauty of this choice is that you answer to nobody. There is no "grade" or "evaluation" at the end to see whether or not you met the point of your life.

The only measure of this is how happy you are with what you did.

Yeah. I was thinking in the same angle from the universal sense. We're just like a molecule or sand which contributes to the existence of the universe.
Some people are proud of themselves but in the end, they're just merely a kind of molecules making up the whole universe.

Did you take some LSD? You're getting all introspective on us.

lol purple haze, all in my brain...lately things just don't seem the same

i think life or to live, is simply about maintaining the species

it applies to all life, from humans down to viruses and organisms

all are programmed to survive and adapt to the environment

if you want to know the truth of life... find out who wrote that script

Does there have to be one? To assume there is, is to believe we are all part of one great scheme...I don't buy that.

its all about moments for me. good moments, bad moments. moments that make you reflect. no point in overthinking it all really. just enjoy each moment for what it is.
