why don't you accept live orders today, your interface is still stuck in 'landrush' mode and theres some delay when attempting to register?

I would like to put in my openion regarding the issue.First of all you should audit your morals who ever abused/cursed please do not include family and stuff like that.
Coming back to the point i am not fan of eurodns and did not apply a single domain with them becuase of their refund policy simple as that but the way you guys are hating the company is definately not fair.Lets try to look bit deeper in the situation there are 1500 registrars and how many of them you had applied with ? most of people around here and other forums used eurodns massively ignoring many other registrars which could have smaller queues than eurodns but as since eurodns is more famous and one/two ranking in google for .eu registration service every 3rd person applied with eurodns now compare 24 eurodns registrars with total number of 1500 registrars some of them lets say up to 500 registrars are professional in the field now apply simple arithmetic here and find a ratio between 24 1500 Lets say there were 1500 applications every second and and only 24 of them were from eurodns you see how week is it and beyond control ? i can explain in bit more detail and in a technical way to make you understand but its 2am here and i have to sleep any ways apart from all that it was just matter of luck i paid some registrar who had 36 registrars army with it and charged me 70 euro per domain and their queues were under 100 and guess what they got me nadda one big 0 and most interesting thing to be noted here is my registrar was the one who sent in 4 out of first 5 applications to eurid on 7th april and still they got me nadda other interesting thing is i had GBP.eu with my registrar and i was surprised and amazed to see eurodns beat them at that.My point is it was all matter of luck and nothing else.
Peace

I checked and unless I`m wrong ( since my head is still fuming ) that ALL 2 letters ( you said 2 letters not 2 chars, includind numbers) that they were blocked, reserved or under application before the landrush.
Otherwise please list these 2 letters that Eurodns got.

Actually would be great to catch the 3 LLL as well.
Cheers

let me calculate. First contact with Internet, hmmm. I think 17 years ago or more perhaps I had my first email, I needed to poll it with a 2400 Baud modem on a 80286 with 12 Mhz.
EuroDNS exist since 4 years. I did different things in the meantime, but always stayed close to IT.

Why you are asking? How long are you in Internet business?

Freddy

17 years ago???????? :greenconfusedw:

I thought internet started to be used around 1994....
I have to search.....if that is true.....how did you get involved so early and why did not you get sex.com :)
I`m really curious about freddy`s life now
How old are you? I just turned 30.... sigh I will never see the number 2....:ranger:

hey Mr CIA, you must be a really happy person if this are all your problems. :greenembarrassed: But it makes me funny answering questions like this.
you are right, my fault, 2 char. and 3 letter. but will not post because those are from customers.
I reged my first names in 1997, mostly crap, only few guys expected the value so early. Who know when I exactly got my first email, it was under a 4th level domain. read this: http://www.100oldest.com/

not every one started so late as you.

Hey mate don`t take it personally, I have nothing against you or Eurodns, I was really interested in your life, I did not make any joke.
As I`m sure you know the difference in value between a 2 chars and a 2 letters is huge, that`s why I questioned, plus Ichecked that already before to read your post.
Regarding me so late well it has been because I lost my father when I was only 6 year old and I could not efford to buy a computer till the year 2000 when after sacrifices I could have spare money for that.
I had to leave my home city where I could not find a job and go somewhere else to work and just survive and help my mother for years.
I did not mean to be rude or offensive.
Sorry.

oh no my friend! the bills are not paid, we took huge risk on our sholders.
when all invoices will be paid we are happy and have enough money for very interesting projects.
A landrush is in our position a very risky game.

I am impressed of you guys, few minutes ago I saw orders of really impressive hotel domains. It is amazing what ideas you have.
each I count 1k worth. Thats fast and good money.

Freddy thanks for the link: http://www.100oldest.com very cool :)

One question, if you register an european hotel name that is copyrighted, there is a chance they can get it by law right ?
