It is often very difficult for the seller to get the desired value for a domain in a negotiation.
Quite often, the buyer sticks to a certain price and does not move north of it.
Mentioning the 'replacement cost' at that instant may sometimes help you get the desired price for your domain.
Replacement cost for a domain name is the amount of money that you will have to spend in order to acquire a domain similar to or better than the one you are about to sell.
