What about worldwide gambling/casino sites? .biz or .us for these? Opinions requested and appreciated!

I'm partial towards .biz, but for certain projects only. If not I will use *gulp* a .com...

I may be the first "pro new TLD" advocate to admit it, but lately I have return to .com (for use only--selling them is futile).

Lately I ahve been seeing TV ads with the .US extension even if the co. also ahs the Com. Makes sense to track their US advertising.

Just visited Volvocars.us site and checked the .biz (they advertise the .us)
volvocars.us - Active
Volvocars.biz - Not active

Which american companies have been advertising with the .US web addresses?

If these are propping up more often, surely the .US will rise very well.

We need more advertisers like volvo cars, and next year will be a good year.

There are tons of US advertisers using their .us domains however it is more important that some are beginning to develop the .us domain and not just redirect.

Quirt a paradox isnt it?
and a lesson for all of us.
Look at the trend from the admitedly limited examples we gave here.
2 very large US companies have the .biz developed, while a Swedish car company has the .us developed.
The reason is rather obvious.
The US companies are known as their .com versions, and are expanding with .biz to include a global presence.
The Swedish company, wanting to make itself more assertive in the US market, chose .us
It makes complete sense to me.

SONY are using a sub domain of their .biz domain to market products and equipment which are directly business related.

http://smb.us.sony.biz

As far as big corporations go, SONY is pretty darn big.

Another nice example of a .biz site...

http://www.flyte.biz/

Thanks
Rob
