...... and what % of .me's have you guys dropped and not renewed by now? or plan to drop before next renewal?

-=DCG=-

I've dropped about half and sold about half. 4 or 5 on each side. Nothing major. Just enough to cover what I put into it. Now I'm only holding on to my first one.

I had a $500 offer on Powder.me but I thought it was too low considering it could be used for women powder cosmetics or snow skiing so I'm holding out for the next good price to come its way.

I believe this one worth a lot Excuse dot me...

I think that is a real good one my friend. If you have a killer idea and implement it then it could be even be worth a lot more.

You should have taken up the offer.

I've sold 13 .me domains in the past 8 weeks for more than I need to cover my initial investment and nut for the next 5 years.

Most were end user sales via Sedo or email inquiry.

Dot .me is very hot now. Timing is everything. :)

Able to divulge the domains sold and the price range?

I saw the promise of .me and cctld hacks when I noticed many of the url shorteners jumping on the cctld bandwagon two years ago. 2 years later with the number of internet 3.0 apps being developed for iOS and Android, .me has become extremely hot. Most of the sales I've made have been to these app based startups.

I won't divulge the actual names, but they were all strong, one English word, short, singular nouns and verbs with a minimum of 25K searches/month. The selling prices range from low $XXX for one lucky buyer via Sedo auction (that one still has me mythed) to several in the high $XXX to $XXXX range.

I let quite a few of my less desirable .me's drop during a spring clean of all my domains. I'm not sure how many .me's I had to begin with, but I probably let about 20% of them drop.
I just went through my remaining list of .me's and may end up letting another 10% go, but I'm not sure yet.

Interest in .me does seem to be picking up though, I've gotten a few emails lately inquiring about a few of the names I have.
I've had two listed on Godaddy (offer/counter with buy now) for a few months and have just sold one of them for 4k (currently in the hands of Escrow).
I may actually start listing a few more just to see how they go.

Cheers

None. But I would still love to get my hands on a few Maine City, Township names.

Most of the .me domains I own are either LLL or LLLL, but I have a few others, playing on the repeated "me" and one domain hack. Here's a small sampling of my better ones:

Whi.me
Urg.me

MyMy.me
OmMe.me

Eine.me

TestMe.me
SearchMe.me
IndexMe.me

MolecularGastrono.me
