HI, i'm trying to buy a domain using escrow and wondering if the intermediary bank fee of $25 dollar could be paid by Seller?

"Transactions with Buyer outside the United States will be charged an additional $25.00 to cover up any intermediary"

As a buyer try to make the seller pay it; if not willing or arrogant, split it 50/50.
As a buyer I hate when I'm forced into buying the Escrow fee. I tell them what my max budget is and that's it - the extra $25 will be deducted from my max budget if I have to pay the fee.

Thanks for quick heads up, i'm splitting the transaction fee with seller, however, at this page https://www.escrow.com/support/calculator.asp it says buyer will be charged $25 for intermediary fee. SO there is any option to shift this fee to seller with in escrow panel or how to shift it to him.

if you are really worried about a 25 dollar fee it makes me wonder how much the actual purchase is for. if you want the domain, suckk it up. its not the sellers fault the buyer is not in the US.

Well, email him and ask him to pay you back in paypal or moneybookers, or ship you a 8gb USB, heh. Or just move on, and be thankful that you have done another transaction!

I've done a half dozen transactions on Escrow.com ranging from a few hundred to low XX,XXX both as buyer and seller, and the buyer has always covered the fees.

To be honest, $25 out of $3,800 is not even peanuts. It always amazes me that some (either as buyer or seller) would insist on NOT splitting the fees. It's a number game: just add it to the price!

I could tell you but then I'd have to charge a $25 online consultation fee :D
