I obviously thought it's a great idea david, thanks (see the forum home). Posts the domains for sale forum and a "related offers" forum in the advertising section here should really sort some things out. No advertisements on any other forum will be allowed. (See forum rules)

True. But it is common knowledge that a lot of people use WHOIS to check the availability of a domain name. A number of WHOIS engines have, in the past, been accused of logging all the queries parsed through them, and auto-registering anything that is available and worth registering. When I brought this very point up in the chat room, not long ago, your response actually gave me the impression that you do that. I don't know whether you do or don't, because you haven't said. All I can say is that I, personally, wouldn't go to a WHOIS search engine that is run in this way. I'd rather go to one that I felt would definitely be 'safe' such as the OpenSRS one.

I don't press ctrl v - www.unisyn.com bot does it for me

Well whatever you do, you've obviously annoyed a few people doing it. You've also just admitted that you spam, by saying that you use a bot. If we all did it, then the forum and chat room would be full of ads and precious little content. As I have mentioned previously, your chat room spamming has increased recently and it prompted me to put you on /ignore. I don't like to kill file people, and rarely do, but when I did it sure did improve my enjoyment of the chat room that day. :)

Do you now see what I, and others [above] are getting at?

You've spammed a lot more besides in the past so I am afraid you cannot blame people when they finally hit back at you for doing it.

Please grasp this concept. :)

Great. Well I thought the way WHT.com did it seemed workable here, and suggested it.

Now advertising has its own place and people can post ads there without feeling they are breaking any rules. Ads also won't interfere with the rest of the forum.

Hopefully this is now settled. :)
