Why domains with numbers are worth ?

Hello, i don't understand why people are so interested to register domains with number, i don't find the convenience, difficult brandable (except NN/NNN), and you haven't any keyword words in it. But probably i miss something

A few reasons:

Countries in Asia have different languages and alphabets that don't easily translate to the Internet. So using the 26 letter Western Alphabet is not the most convenient. IDN domains have helped somewhat but would still be country specific. However, Arabic numerals are universal and language independent. Also, many numerals sound similar to words in Chinese.
