Does anyone own the trademark Bluetooth?

It is a standard, and so is WiBree.

That TM signs looks weird, it doesnt appear in the official press release neither in the logo itself:

http://www.wibree.com/press

So probably someone just added it.

WibreeDevices.com my personal favourite, though WibreeGadgets.com and the others are nice too!

That is the footnot in the wibree.com website.

I know they are touting it as an "open standard", but it still sounds propriatary to me. We'll see if it is adopted, but I'm sure nokia has the patents, and thus licensing power which could slow acceptance as an "open standard"

So far I've invested in Wibro, Wimax, NFC (near field communication), and UWB (Ultra wideband, Intel's investment) http://www.intel.com/technology/comms/uwb/

It looks like Nokia is serious about the development of Wibree, but I would be afraid of them defending their mark.

I've registered a few Wimax domains:

WIMAXSIGNUP.COM
WIMAXLOCATOR.COM
WIMAXLOOKUP.COM
WIMAX4FREE.COM
WIMAXPHONEACCESSORIES.COM
DISCOUNTWIMAXPHONES.COM
FREEWIMAXPHONES.NET

Nokia recently announced that they'll be releasing Wimax phones in 2007.
