I sure hope we are entitled to the new perks. Domainut.com has been doing pretty good for the last year, and getting a lower buy rate, and the discounted api would be great.

Where is your lower rate? I see $7.85 for com on your site, that is WW's standard minimum allowed retail price, right? Do you mean your buy rate has been lowered but you are still mandated the $7.85 retail price?

Hi,There are many reasons why DNF has a lower rate ($6.95) than most and we cannot discuss all of the terms. One of the terms is based on a 'special' bulk advanced arrangement DNF made with WWD.
Huseyin

Thanks for the explanation but is certainly seems quite unfair to other WW resellers. Why would anyone use us when they can get almost $1 lower price thru DNF? It seems like all WW is doing is taking business away from old established resellers and original supporters of the reseller program and simply giving business to the new kid on the block, depriving old resllers of income. I may be complaining to WW about this.

P.S. Possibly alientaing old clients is a serious risk caused by over-zealous marketing. It can be extremely annoying to established customers (of any type of business) to see new customers getting a better deal, when the old client is also deserving of a good deal, perhaps more so. This is a reason it's always a concern running sale prices on website products.

I said it would be great to get a lower buy rate, not that it is. I am hoping that this will effect all DNF/WWD resellers, not just the DNF reseller site or new DNF referrals.

There are two sign up pages.

This one gives you $89 on the sign up for the Instant Reseller Program when you get in the cart:
http://www.wildwestdomains.com/landing.aspx?isc=wwdnfr1ax

This one gives you $89 on the sign up for the API when you get to the cart:
http://www.wildwestdomains.com/api.aspx?isc=wwdnfl1ax

Once you go LIVE with the API, you only have to deposit $500 instead of the regular $2000 to get CNO domains at $6.99.

If you are an existing WWD reseller, DNForum members get this same deal for renewals. Just call them to renew and you can get $10 off your renewal.

thanks for that clarification,

1 more Q:
both links are the same, and they say 99.
also, what exactly does the API offer?
for the instant reseller program, are the prices different than with the CNO domains?

thanks!

Thanks for joing the discussion WW. However, the main issue appears not to be the $99 but the fact your new reseller DNF is allowed to offer a $6.95 retail price whereas long established resellers are required to offer $7.85 retial pricing, thus there is little reason to use old resellers for buys and transfers as most everyone here will now likely go with dnf, right?

I updated the links.

Here is a price list for the API products and services you can offer:
http://www.wildwestdomains.com/apipricelist.aspx
SSL certs, backordering and more will be added to the API offerings in the next couple months.

The prices are different for the Instant Reseller Program as WWD does all the work. The hosting of the pre-built site is included, plus credit card processing and customer support for your customers.

Glad to be in the discussion!

At this time, DNForum members do not get the $6.95 offering that DNF gets. However, DNF members can register their own domain names through the DNF reseller site to get this low, low rate. It was set up specifically for DNF members to benefit from. It is not being advertised elsewhere.

You seem to be missing the entire point. If you go to the DNF reseller website https://www.securepaynet.net/gdshop/rhp/default.asp?prog_id=dnforumdomains they are offering a $6.95 retail price for com's to the public but other resellers are forced to offer $7.85 minimum!

So it seems my assumption that by DNF doing this it results in your old established resellers losing their business they get from members here, who will now most assuredly use dnf for registrations and transfers, right?

Isn't this setup kinda like robbing Peter to pay Paul and taking business from your old clients and giving it to the new kid on the block so to speak? It all seems very unfair to me.

Ok, I will answer as best i can then close this string.

We have negotiated a contract so our members can buy doomains for $6.95 from us.

This has nothing to do with any other WildWest promotions.

This is strictly a benefit to dnforum members.

This is a business relationship between WWD and Dnforum.

You can get domains for that price through us here:

https://www.securepaynet.net/gdshop/rhp/default.asp?prog_id=dnforumdomains

String closed as this is not a section to say how come them and not us, this is a section to post technical issues or sales issues and get questions answered.

You are however free work our your own deal directly with WWD if you feel you can make the same or similar commitment we made to them.
