That is exactly my point when replying to DomainShark's remark. Many would actually go for UDRP instead of paying less to a "cybersquatter".

Not really. I guess you have overrated their moral standards; corporations usually care more about showing off their muscle (power). ;)

learn from what has happened and never e-mail person with price for name
if someone e-mails you and asked if your selling a name any name (trademark or typo)
and you e-mail them a price then you deserve what happened to you.
first rule always tell the person you are not intrested in selling the name but if they want to e-mail you with offer you will consider it.
this puts tho onus on them and not you
always reverse the person to quote you price first.

yours

It's EXACTLY what they have been doing. Nobody says it's right, but sadly it's the way how things are working right now, at least until "working men of all countries, unit" and get rid of capitalism: AGAIN, it doesn't matter who's wrong or who's right, those with more power (resources) rule.

It's kind of amusing to see people around here who are involved in trying to profit off of domain name speculation, Web affiliate programs, and the like, and who then write opinions about how it's necessary to "get rid of capitalism".
