I got a wireless router and a wireless network card a few days back, took me two days to figure out how to set it up, and my share my DIALUP connection on it, yes folks, thats right, now, i can access the internet from two different pcs and my pda, so now, what i wanted to do was, be able to control my desktop through my pda.
So my plan was, to find a good remote desktop control software, i dled TightVPN and i couldnt get it to work with the web browser for some reason, has anyone else used this program? am i doing something wrong? and in theory, it sounded doable since my pocket pc has a web browser (IE) and i am pretty sure it supports java script, and this wont be so bad over a network since it is local.

So any ideas?

Now, i know this forum isnt exactly for this, but this didnt really fit in any other category, so help if you can, and i apologize if i shouldnt have posted this here.

thats only in XP pro i believe, i can use it from XP home, but i wont be able to control the pc running XP Home, only pcs running XP Pro, which i dont have, and i can get the TightVNC to work on my local computer, its just not reacheable from other computers on my own network.
See, it works in the browser when i type in:
http://localhost:5800
but what would i type to access this from a different computer?
I tried this, but it didnt work:
http://IP.OF.LOCALHOST:5800

My bad. You wouldn't be able to access through browser. Let me see what else I can try and figure out.
