It looks like it was the NBA Legends Foundation's domain, not the main NBA... This must be some non-profit division of the NBA.

I tried to check Archive.org for nba.org, but the Internet Archive site must be having problems, as I kept getting errors.

I agree, I think anyone that gets this is asking for trouble... But then again, if you just parked it for a while, the sedo earning from "NBA" should be good! If they asked for their name, you could just turn it over to them.

When you report a domain for false whois it isn't deleted right away.

Nba.org - You would have no problem winning this one in wipo, if it went to wipoi would think i would win.

Its 3 letters which could mean hundreds of things, they let it drop, you develop it quickly into something else, then there chnaces are gone.

Fake whois - Well if you report it can take weeks or months for them todo anything about it and they will give him a chnace to correct it anyway.
