What is the difference? com.com = www.com - without the icann post exchange of www. The name is the same with or with out the www. The domain name they state is for sale is a 3 letter domain as COM

The name is "www.com" as in http://www.www.com

eBay suceeded because they offered an easy, affordable way to conduct auctions on the internet and because they were smart enough to not use the type of auctions that automatically get extended when there is a bid at the last moment.

however, their continued success is undoubtedly due in part to the 'tard factor' of people selling worthless merchandise for hilarious prices. In this case www.com is of course not worthless, but its price is laughable.

I don't think that's how they became huge.

I would venture a guess that their powersellers account for more revenue vs. the "tards".
