One thing I've learned from these roll-outs is that you have a better chance of procuring names for yourself if you own a ICANN accredited Registry.
I myself will not be speculating even though I believe this domain will far surpass any new roll out we've seen yet.
I won't be speculating for the simple fact this name WILL BE a marked domain. My guess is you'll still need to keep a .com so that if you need to email you can. Employers I'm sure will block the domain. People forget how much traffic they get from workplaces..Check your logs!!!! Here in the US I'm sure the gov't will try to force the issue of making .XXX a place where porn operators can do business. It makes sense, you can't have an adult establishment within "X" feet from a school, etc. Why should a child be just a few keystrokes from it. It will definitely be easier for parents to block this name. That means adolescent children who would otherwise pay for a yearlong subscription using their parents cc, might not be able to. Has anyone ever wondered how much money is actually made from teenage boys? You cut some of the market, and you just have a regular old internet business.
So after all that is said and done, I don't think all the red tape will be worth it, unless you get Sex.xxx, Porn.xxx, or any of the major fetishes.
