Arrggghhh - redirecting a domain name

i had this working for ages and then all of a sudden its not working and i dont know why

in my enom account i had

hostname Record Type Address

www A Address the ip of my server
@ (none) url redirect the place i want to point to ie. www.mysite.com/subforum/


everything was working fine - but i moved server, so i updated the ip address as well - but it aint working now

are the A Address and url redirect round the wrong way - what else could be wrong?
