Does anyone know what's the difference between Pre Landrush and General Landrush???

Even the girl at godaddy couldn't tell me. And this refund thing is wierd. When you prereg it says application fee and reg fee are unrefundable. Then we got another guy telling us they will refund but there is application fee. When I call godaddy the women said it will be completely refunded if you don't get the domain.

Which is it?

Godaddy Site right, the guy right or the Godaddy Employee right?

I have submitted 5000 .asia domains to eurodns
They have set my account to to invoice and I have only to pay if I get the domains.


I have send my list to mmueller*@eurodns.com ( without the *)
and he has added them to my account.

No, kidding. .eu was a disaster, I wonder if .asia will be teh same. Esp with the renewal fees so high I don't know if they would ever take off.

most registrars are raising rates, for the land rush. and yes if you dont get the domain you get ur money back. less the (3) local contact fee. so in reg is just 18 for 2 yrs.

Ive copied this from another post of ours elsewhere, but some info on how we are dealing with the CED contact for you and then about the refund coversation below that! Mark @ Domainmonster.com

Finally, one other thing to check is the CED contact. To register a .asia you need to be in one of 70 countries and be a certain legal status in that country. Clearly, a lot of people won't meet that requirement and still want a domain. In that event, we automatically proxy your application with a CED contact for us in Auckland, New Zealand, the home of Domainmonster.com Limited, our New Zealand legal entity. We don't charge for this CED contact and clearly it meets the requirements of the registry 100%.

The registry will be checking CED contacts (Its a key part of their agreement), so if your status is even slightly shaky, then they will take the domain name away anyway. Its not worth the risk, especially if you've auctioned for it! Anyway, hopefully a little more info that might help. Mark @ Domainmonster.com

In the case of Domainmonster.com, we are very clear with our terms. We require a non-refundable payment. However, our prices are significantly cheaper the most in the first instance and at this stage of the game, the domain is basically yours if its available, as it will either go auction or be yours straight away...so why defer the payment if you really want the domain!

Regardless, from our research it seems that not all registrars are clear with the terms. We are seeing mixed messages into our support box about any that are offering refunds, changing from regular refund to account credit with them, or refund minus application costs, that kind of thing, just very mixed and un-clear. We don't refund, but are clear on what you get for your money and a fantastic price till 12:00 GMT tomorrow!

OK as i am in Pakistan , i was able to provide them with the CED myself so no harm done hehehe

one thing i sent a list of about 17 domains to the guy but only like 7 were added to my account "Domain being processed" status what does that mean ? :?:
