I see you think CA/US are the world I'm reasoning from the many countries like in Europe where people do visit multiple sites in hunting for good tickets. Especially the Dutch like to go Dutch instead of sticking to 1 site

I was also going to comment on this.

Expedia and many of the site that we (in the U.S.) use are non-funcitonal and will not give those 'deals' to other nations. So, there are a great many billions of people who don't even know expedia, orbitz, priceline etc. Therefore, many of those sites do not even advertise in other nations. The populace do not know those sites therefore they do not use those sites.

There are options and people can create options so that is why people (and domainers) need to keep an open mind.
