No one is reging CC names in hopes of making a ton of cash (I dont think so anyway).
As I said in the other thread I just sold isp[dot]cc late last week ($400) and had an offer for UnitedStates.cc. I have owned both and one other .cc for a while.
I reg'd them simply because they were incredible names. I also was pretty sure I would be able to move each of the three names for at least 5-10 times my investment.
I look at selling domains as a business so when I believe a name has value I reg it without prejudice. In this case the risk ($25) vs. the reward ($xxx+++) is small.
I would imagine 1.cc would get $xxxx from another speculator.
Heh, was just at DNjournal and noticed my .cc sale is listed: "ISP.cc went for $400 (notable only because .cc sales have been rare at any price)."
Didnt think it was going to be in there until next week.
