That chat sure could handle that sort of load, I'm almost positive. But good question I'll talk to my chat provider. Just to let you know, the actual chat program is with www.RaiderSoft.com - They have a pretty good chat service for a low price.

Just got a response from chat provider, he said there really would not be a difference if 10 people wer eonline and chatting or 500, it shouldn't pose a problem (the chat room is hosting actually on RaiderSoft's servers). And sub-rooms can be created if a hoard of people start going to the chat room.
