the thing with being DCG is that your monthly parking revenue alone will pay for the renewal for the entire year.

Most other lesser beings have to actually sell some names to pay for the others.

Adam also snapped up most of the remaining LLL.ca's a few months back... very quietly too.

to be fair, if you can grab top keywords in any half decent extension, they'll be valuable.

yes, but mostly he just reads ;)

I would like to personally thank all those with their kind thoughts and wishes in this thread.

There are many more things like this ahead and you will be reading of them soon so you can enjoy them instead of just watching me do them.

The next 2 years will be even better and more prosperous for those that target their 'assets' properly. hint hint.

Um, yes? :)

It's helped me out a lot. I doubt I'll turn my portfolio into 1.5M in 2 years, maybe 5 or so years..

just a thought: the primary reason why most domainers buy/sell names is to find an end user. But while Adam grabbed premium letter LLLL.coms that can find some end user some day, a lot of the poorest quality LLLL.coms would find it very hard to find someone willing to buy them (much harder than poorest quality LLL.coms)

While a uNet.com is great for a lot of companies, xqjv.com is not so (even the Chinese consider 'v' as bad, lol).

Thats my whole concern. If some names keep on being traded in between resellers, I think it'll eventually lead to a burst.

Unless there are some end user sales for the xjqz.com variety of names, I think there is some revision in the works for the lowest quality LLLL.coms....how long can a name survive being traded between domainers?

Sachas,

I used to think that way too until I sold zwas.com and zzzq.com for each over 5 figures. Who would have guessed they had value.

They have different reasons for buying them, one of the above was a guy's last name, the other I didn't care. It's always about what the buyer feels it's worth not what I think.

As I get more knowledge daily, I understand the above point.
