Hello.

I hope you can help me. The 'collective consciousness' of the DNforum.
I recently bought an enom reseller account. Now magically a new domain appeared in my account...
That is in addition to my nephew getting on my computer a few days ago, and he assures me he had nothing to do with it...

I am sure someone out there would like it back.
Apparently whois shows me as the register company and some other as an owner, but his/her address would default back to me...
So, first how do I get this domain back to its owner?
Second, for those that have had enom reseller accounts, is this normal, I mean can someone that is using this account register it through me?
It shows it as my domain.
I am afraid that someone could be using my account for good purposes (i.e. so that I can make money?) and If I do get in contact with them, they will worry for no reason.
Is there an FAQ for reseller accounts for enom?

Thank you!

Click on the ? at the top right corner of the Enom page - it will take you to a link to the Reseller Support area wher you can find FAQ'S or request a support issue.

nice standard reply...
Basically telling me to f*** off...
I guess I'll just be quiet...
Hopefully If there are people using this account to register domain names, I will someday find out...
What a world...

Part of life I guess.

Enom /Registerfly /Unified domain is having a glitch.. last week someone from the board PM me that somehow one of my domains was filled with all of his data.. basically he had control if he wanted it..

Not a good trend .. anyone else have this happen within the past 2 weeks ?

It seems to have started a few weeks ago when Enom was updating their system..everyone rememeber when we didnt have access for hours at a time.. I am wondering if this problem is related to that update.. ?

Easy Big Fella

Like I said I believe it is just a "glitch" a software issue.. Simply print out /send to a file etc. all your domains so you have a nice record .

I am only throwing out a hypothetical as to why a few pepple (myself included) have had domains either appear or abouit ready to disappear) from either registerfly or enom /Unified Names..

I think when enom was doing that "update" a few weeks ago and everyone couldnt access thier domains for a few hours ..some wires got crossed..

I dont think it is widespread..but everyone should take a look at their accounts ..lets see if it is just a ferw isolated incidents or more..

I think it if was more..you certainly would have heard the rants by now...!

"Transition" what do you mean by that ? you are in the process of moving names in or out ?
Shouldnt be any problem if thats what you are saying

I always liked your posts!

BUT...
I thought I was smart enough... (big QUESTION mark here) to get a reseller account, and I now have about 230+ domains coming in to the account.
So I figure...
If some 'dude' is in there by accident, where am I???
I know, I know, it's a very philosophical question...
I am just going to open a bottle of nice Greek wine and relax...
MY DOMAINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol :)
initial reaction....

Sorry to bump in... ;-)

The Greek SAMOS wine rules! I love it.
Unfortunately, I can't find it anywhere here where I live now. I used to buy it all the time in Holland...

CHEERS!

okkkk, I can not see how that helps, but since it seems important, here is the secret...
It depends on the year.
Now, the best you can do is go to 2000
Antonopoulos collection 2000 is just awesome,
any version of amethistos is also superb.
If anyone has the right site we could develop this.
I am taking Ancient Greek wine recipes here!

Cheers beshopalula.. SAMOS.. I'll look for it... I live just outside Minneapolis, Mn ..not exactly wine country

We took a trip through Missouri (USA) last year and stopped at a few vineyards along the way and was really suprised at actually how good some of these midwestern wines have become..

Thanks seeker. I'll also check them out.. they probably wont have it locally here..

Think what I'll do is just grab a few bottles of different kinds of Greek wine.. Then I'll post my reviews ..then you all can tell me I must have drunk to much if I though so-so wine was any good

I'll trade you a private review for a bottle of real Greek wine.
You email me with some real tips, and I promise to send you the best bottle of Greek wine (red) I have here.
And I can tell you it is a darn good one.

Isn't that a bit dangerous for the registrant?
