It has come to my attention that the current set of alpha-numeric
characters and the hyphen for domain names is unnecessarily restrictive.
Domain names fanatics should be allowed some creativity. This is our
bread and butter, lets get ICANN to loosen up, and allow ALL characters
in a domain name. If they can handle international characters, surely
they can deal with the occassional %, @, !, * and }.
Here are some possibilities this would open up...

And for the adult sites...

Of course, multi-line domain names would be helpful also....
