I like musicdownload.hk. Also the breastsurgeon ones could become popular as plastic surgery becomes more prevalent.

The following is a result of nearly two years of preparation, including hardly any sleep in the five days before Friday to ensure the missiles were working. All were acquired legimately in the landrush process - I lost quite most of the ones I wanted to sunrise period fraudsters

These are mostly my tier two and three ones. Got a number of tier one .eus, which are two or three characters etc.,

Would like to develop many of these, but willing to sell some to pay for the cost of developing others into supersites, so, if interested, PM me:

smsgratuits.eu (free SMS in French)
royaumeuni.eu (UK in French)
officiel.eu (Official in French)
serbie.eu (Serbia in French)
institutionen.eu (Institute in German, Swedish etc.)
championleague.eu
erasamus.eu
geurnsey.eu
wwwdomain.eu
wwwhotel.eu
wwwhost.eu
wwwbuy.eu
wweu.eu
HotelsSearch.eu
wwwhoroscope.eu
wwwhoroscopes.eu
buyproperties.eu
stanstead.eu
mapeurope.eu
mov.eu
gole.eu
tupac.eu
ww1.eu
registar.eu

Also many of the most popular names in EU countries such as
keira.eu, liam.eu, niclas.eu

You learn a lot spending a few hundred hours researching .eu domain names. I thought tupac was alive :)

Please all have mercy on my eyes. I had an operation a few months ago.
Some of these domains in these 14 pages are worth $0 in .com

Yes, I agree with the sentiments expressed above about getting carried away with .eu domain names. Don't get sucked in by the hype of the domain name registrars and the fervour in the domainer community.

.eus will never match .com and won't even develop the same value as .de or .co.uk. I say that owning a few .eus myself and hoping to sell some: I don't want the fellow community members here to waste their money.

The current mass hysteria here is ridiculous. Funny thing is group dynamics.

And what is BluePixel.gr worth?

Don't criticize other people's domain names...

I've sold multiple .eu's for XXX-X,XXX.

One thing I hate about this forum is that there are WAY too many "experts."

BluePixel.gr is my company's name that I have since 2001 that I am not selling.
Ever.
I guess dnGenius.com is much worse but we are talking about .eu here.

Sorry to say it but I am much more of an expert that you are. My Join Date pretty much covers it.

I'm not here to argue with you since you have no idea who I am...nor do you need to be defensive. Point being, there is no use to put people down for their domain names...they have already registered them so there is no use in it.

care to go against my join date?
I cannot stand for Godfrey's experience because I do not know it, but this is the 5th forum I joined...and only because they invited me for free... several years after I got into this as a hobby.

Join dates mean CRAP.

Godfrey, as per you comments above about not disparaging others domains, +1. Well said.

Well I was a bit hurt that somebody wrote "Please all have mercy on my eyes. I had an operation a few months ago." just after my post. I spent two years quietly working for my .eus and would have been nice to hear something more positive. But I suppose not everybody has read Hot to Win Friends and Influence People.

It's fine to talk about TLDs in general - I've done that myself - but one needs to be careful about criticising individuals. And, certainly, its a good idea to comment positively on the previous post or disassociate yourself from it clearly before posting something so blatantly negative.

And agree that join date doesn't mean anything.

P.S. just learnt my team at Doster had managed to grab another six two character .eus for me, so, if you were referring to my domains, hope that makes your eyes cry too.

Thanks Lee. I appreciate the comment.

I do not want to start an argument though. The point of this forum is to buy, sell, trade and chat about domain names. Dvdrip, I look at your history of posts and I must add that all of your comments are negative. Why?

I hope that you will stop and think about your posts the next time you are about to post a negative comment. Alot of these people are just getting into the industry and need constructive criticism to learn. I have been involved in several million dollar domain name transactions and trust me, I know what I am doing. I don't want to aruge with you...just please take my words into consideration.

Thank you,
Justin Godfrey

As was I. I look back to some of the domain names that I first registered and I can laugh at myself...but hey...as you said...that's how we learn. In this business, it's all trial and error.

The great thing with domains is that you can always be surprised by its value, it's also very dependent on how the economy performs.
I remember a domain name I had, initiative.com, was valued by greatdomains.com in 1999 at 110K US.
I wasn't able to sell it 'till 2003 (bad economy) for considerably less than the 1999 price.
Now that the economy seems to go better I believe prices will go up again.

Remember beauty.cc sold for 1M US!

Dvdrip is absolutely right.

I wouldn't register the majority of these names in .com, let alone .eu

Initiative.com is indeed a great name. Hopefully you made at least 25% of that price.

Beauty.cc was sold for $200k + stock, however 1999 was the last golden year before the big crash of March 2000 - which happened right as the Fed attempted to dissect Microsoft. Coincidental? I don't think so!

Acroplex,
you are right with the crash, but in germany for example I see that it stabelized end of last year and I see a small grow in the industry. I think the .eu will bring some good deals on the table.
