Evanna Lynch (http://www.evannalynch.com) will be Luna Lovegood in the upcoming Harry Potter movies. Evanna Lynch is a novel actress, and her success has been unbelievable, even before the premiere. A Google search for "Evanna Lynch" (quoted, not random appearances) will yield more than 280,000 results. And that began the very next week after Evanna Lynch was appointed as the new Harry Potter's star! Also, a search for "Evanna Lynch" in Yahoo yields more than 370,000 results.

Evanna Lynch's fan sites are growing everywhere, but NONE OF THEM could get the only domain name that really matters, the solid, simple, non-dashed, dotcom, EvannaLynch.com. They had to work with:

- Lame extensions
- Prefixes and suffixes
- Dashed versions
- Other

Next Harry Potter movie just released, yet Evanna Lynch is being recognized as an acting phenomenon (and also a popularity phenomenon) WORLDWIDE.

Current stats are publicly available thru SEDO tracker (at the bottom of the pages). SEDO tracker is WELL KNOW for their honest statistics, and their tendency to "underestimate" relative to other tracking methods, but actually many people, including me, think that SEDO tracker reports TRUE uniques, while other methods are loose and report many useless visits as uniques.

BOTTOMLINE: EvannaLynch.com domain name is SMOKING HOT!

Varlin, forget about those traffic forecasting. A figure of how much you earn per day will help people decide how much to bid ;)

Aboutwhat, I know ppl like revenue stats, but I have been unable to make YPN work with wordpress. When evanna was just parked I got like $3 per week, but that was when traffic was 13-30 uniques a day. Similar sites using AdSense (and not truly optimized for best CTR) have reported 45-90 bucks per month BEFORE the movie release (personal communications).

Even if some think that traffic alone is not important, just to let you know, prognose for today is 720 uniques, thats 30 visitors per hour!

Not worth the asking price. New owner will probably run into huge TM issues once she gets big. Not to mention the fact that you have a huge "for sale" sign on the website, which will only help her case...

Well you bashers made your point. I will make mine: Celebrity domains are VERY OFTEN traded amicably with the interested party, for prices in the 5-25K range, with no fights, lawsuits, lawyers, discussions, or even bargaining.

I have recently sold a celebrity domain name to the celebrity HIMSELF, who kindly offered me $2000, without a glitch. Not as famous as Evanna is now. He knew he could made me to relinquish it under legal action, but most ppl prefer an amicable trade. Anyway, I "saved" his name from being taken by other ppl to sell stupid things or show p o r n ads.

EmmaWatson.com is NOT owned by Emma Watson but by some "fans" who happen to monetize it heavily thru AdSense.

So WHAT'S YOUR POINT? As domainers we seek to make money, period. There are pros and cons, risks and gains. I took a risk when I bought this domain name and I plan to make a gain. Whoever buys it will take a risk too, and can make a big gain too. The domain monetizes pretty well, so the risk is balanced by the promise of easy recovery of the invested amount plus a big chance of selling it at a gain.

So... well... I better don't use the words here... Go bash anywhere else, please.

Traffic now steady at 400+ per day, 12000+ per mo without any promotion but the movie release bringing natural searches. Parking revenue stats available for serious bidders.
