Thanks, Jeff. I just use Amazon lists (of top 100 free and paid, as well as a couple of others, which are listed on my now defunct blog, e-booksfreetoday.com). After that I just go into Amazon.com and enter 'business ebooks in Kindle,' 'online marketing ebooks in Kindle,' 'affiliate marketing ebooks in kindle,' and so on, into the search box. It's really a matter of combing through to try to find something that looks well-written and formatted (using the Search Inside facility) or, if not so well-written, that still offers useful info. Sometimes you have to download the e-book to check through it all, which in the past has saved me listing some dillies.

I hope the members realise that listing the downloads means that they are free and not necessarily good. I hope to act as a first filter, but the practice of due diligence is recommended if you don't want to clutter up your Kindle (for PC or otherwise) with junk.

But I've always believed that in even the most unprepossessing book/e-book you can find something that will prove useful to you in the future. It's a bit like beachcombing. Mostly what's out there is just a bunch of pretty stones, but occasionally there will be the glint of gold.
