INC Quick Scan Open to the Public!

Another first in the industry. FreshDrop.net has done it again by pushing the boundaries of domain searching. By far the best buyers in the industry are end-users. They constitute the bulk of the largely priced sales. Our "Inc" Quick Scan scans all domains to see if there are any domains that are the name of any US Incorporated company.

This is not necessary trademark violating... to give you an example, the scan would have picked up: NEXTSTAGE.com . If you google nextstage you will find that there are various end users that have the name nextstage in their names. So essentially you have a good pool of endusers that would do anything possible to get this valuable domain.
We thought this scan was very powerful because I've run across many examples of these generic/brandable names that can be sold to multiple end-users. BTW, NEXTSTAGE.com is at pre-bidding value of $4100 now!!

Imagine if you were a company that was in need of a better internet presence but your name was already taken by some other person on the internet. Then one day a domainer comes to you and offers to sell you the name? Wouldn't you be likely to pay a good fee for that name to better establish your webpresence?

That's why the "Inc" quickscan is so powerful!

freshdrop needs a category all by itself for the Best domaintools award. Just stumbled across a couple domains I wanted a few years ago and bought them for $5 +the reg. Used your buy link to keep the site funded and sent some DNF$ your way.

Very useful and quality tool but ebay section is not working properly. You can see premium domains there but when you click you'll see that these are 2 words domains. For example;

When you click here

You can see kid.com is on auction. But it is actually SAYHEYKID .com.

Other than eBay, it is a great site. Thanks a lot.

I think eBay it goes by the title of the auction, so if they put in Sey Hey Kid.com then it will pop up.

Shady advertising but gets in the people looking for 3 character domains.

Yeah I know it works like that but if webmaster doesn't find a solution, filter or something else, sellers will abuse this useful tool's ebay section.

Reg Fee Data Feed Open to the Public!

Ok, by popular demand we have made the Reg Fee Data Feed open to the public. These are domains that have recently been dropped and are now available to register for just registration fee costs. We scan the list nightly.

As well, there is on average over half a million domains in this scan!

Our tech monkeys have been working hard on resolving the inconsistencies with REG FEE.

I am happy to announce that the REG FEE should now be accurate now. The scan is updated every 12 hours. So if you find a name that is registered, it is because another domainer had registered it within the last 12 hours.

Right now there are only about 50k domains in REG FEE since it only has about 2 days worth of data, but at it's peak REG FEE will show 15 days worth of data. The end date within reg fee section signifies that the domain is about to leave the REG FEE queue. A domain is in the REG FEE queue the date after that it has expired.
