Hi,

I can't decide which is the best Web editor to buy. It's a choice between Namo's WebEditor 5 and NetObjects Fusion 7.
I have never built a site before, but am learning the simple basics of HTML

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Well, this is 'any' advice; A long time ago when I knew 'nuffin about HTML, I used a program called "Hotdog" or "HotDog Express" ... can't remember the parent company!? It was sooo easy that my dog did most of the work for me :)
Good Luck,
Meg

I would recommend Dreamweaver. It is extremely easy to use, does not fudge up code like some proprietary editors (M$ Frontpage). Or just learn basic html and use notepad.

:D

Dreamweaver is a bit pricey. Looking for something a bit cheaper.

DreamWeaver - Easy? I know it's great, would love to learn it, but it's learning curve is just too steep for my short attention span. I do prefer it to FP however :)

It's best not to stick to any one editor - they all have things that are "unique" to them. There are lots of great free editors around to. www.DownLaod.com has them is a seperate catagory I think.

I've used NetObject, this is really a nice wed development tools especially for domain name for sale.. easy idiot type of web tools. This is where I started by site(s) and move on to database driven sites....

You may combine the power of other editor such as hotdog, dreamweaver or front page to Netobject tool.

I like dreamweaver tool next to notepad, because it is clean coding. No extra dummy code compare to front page...

If you understand basic php and mysql, try postnuke or phpnuke portal.

www.needguide.com "this is my portal site ... providing information technology procedures, guidelines, etc. check it out.

Just a thought and hope this help.

Thanks - looks like I'll be getting Dreamweaver.

Is the MX version worth the extra expense or should I go for the 4 version?

Thanks
