seems like you have to sell it at $650. Most of domains appriased by SEDO are worth one-tenth. tell the buyer you feel guilty and will take $650 for the domain.

8500 .... is a great deal for a .co.uk. Go for the cash...try to get 10K outta them they are obviously interested.

The lease is a hassle and they could end up breaking the contract later down the line.

Do the lease if at the end YOU want to use the domain to develop a site...
this way they will have spent the time and money building traffic for ya : )

IF you do the lease make sure YOU have a lawyer draw up the papers with your terms and your language.

You don't want to find out after you've signed a contract they supplied that if you wear plaid on a sunday in may, the ownership reverts to them...( people put strange stuff in contracts )

IMHO

Great terms, but a lease is a hassle. Companies tend to make late payments or change their minds halfway into the lease. Counter offer 10.000 and let everyone go home happy. :)

Assuming this company pays religously that's an excellent price. If they stop paying once they get control of the name, then you might have a problem.

An Adult Site that pays religously. That's an interesting concept. ;)

this one is more interesting

I checked the whois record and found that hotgirls.co.uk just registered on Sep 12, 2002.

the adult-biz company saw you regged it, so they jumped in to offer $8500, then you get SEDO to appraise it at $6500 and that company keep calling your 3 times a day and you counter offer for $400/month lease. this sounds interesting that most domains take months to get someone's attention.

:D

Q. the adult-biz company saw you regged it.
A. l used nametrack service to back order the domain name hotgirls.co.uk so l didn’t now if l was going to get it or not that why it was just registered on Sep 12, 2002.

Q. then you get SEDO to appraise it at £6500.
A. l got a appraise because l didn't now the value of the domain name as l notice the domain name hotgirl.co.uk in an auction site for $10.000.

Q. Company keep calling you 3 times a day and you counter offer for £400/month lease.
A. I said £400 a month because l didn’t what to sell hotgirls.co.uk which is a good domain name for adult company as you now the name has a good advertising and branding potential.
