down for a few days? sounds like they lost a drive or a corrupted system that spread to other drives. Who knows but they shouldnt keep customers from guessing. I was about to transfer hundreds of names there but i guess i made a better move and re-neged my reseller account with dotster.

Disgruntled registrar employees, hmm, that brings back some bad memories. I don't think that's the case here, but then who knows with the lack of communication.

It's a shame, they're my favourite registrar. How they handle this, after everything comes back online, will determine if I'm going to stay with them.

All I know is I am in the middle of a $xx,xxx deal with a domain reg'd there..obviously, it's now on hold thanks to them.

hahaha that's funny...speaking of which I find it strange that google.com is only reg'd through like 2011..less than 2 years lmao..they must be on a budget.

Funny thing is now Godaddy keeps timing out on me..can't seem to do anything in the control panel...grrrrrrrrrr wtfunk man

Last year I was seriously considering moving my entire portfolio to Dynadot, I'm sure glad I didn't.

I would rather pay $10 anyday to another registrar I know is always going to answer the phone and have a working website. You always get what you pay for. I hope they resolve this fast for their sake.

Although I agree, Registrars like Network Solutions are exceptions to the rule, they charge outrageous prices and reward you by legally trying to take your domains away so they can sell them at a profit.

Well....i'm probably going to start moving my more valuable names (to me) to pairnic (some to opensrs), the rest to (back) moniker and fabulous.

Side note.....has anyone else emailed ICANN yet?

I have a pretty high ranking contact at ICANN who I personally know..I will give him a call on the cell tomm. & advise on the situation and see what if anything is known about this matter with Dynadot. I will update this thread with his response as soon as I get in touch.

This is a total joke! I bet you something awful has happened, like they've lost all the data on prepay balances or something. There's just no reasonable excuse for this delay without communication.

I have 14$ balance in dynadot. I want to register domain name. Completed my Get paid to short URL website 3 days ago, since then I have been waiting for dynadot to go online. My site would have been up and running a long time by now...
I was also selling 7mb.info dont know whats the status of that as well
WHY!!!!!!!!!

The dynadot staff are decent upstanding people, and I personally vouch for Todd Han and his integrity.

And thats a ****ing recommendation we should rely on eh ? Dont make me laugh.
They have been down 3 days and not even an email saying what problem is or
nothing. I have been with Fabulous.com for 3 years and NEVER one day down.

And why have'nt Dynadot.com posted on here to say what problem is ?.Wouldnt care
if I did'nt have a website hosted with them but that's down as well.

Independent of that, if you had read the thread you would have noted that I had changed my view on the basis of the length of the downtime.

It IS a disgrace, I agree.
