Anyway, back on subject. Most any quality music works for me. The keywords there are quality & music. Listening to Enya right now. Anything from Twisted Sister to Tori Amos. This year have seen: The Who (Pete & Roger are still with us), REO Rpeedwagon (Still rocking!), Styx, 38 Special, Rush (Always great!!!!!).

Nice playlist - can I borrow your iPod?

And I thought I'd never see Tori mentioned here, I saw her live years ago in Boston (promoting ChiorGirl) - she is great to see live. So are Styx, REO, and Chicago. (The Beach Boys put on a great show, too).

Tori is incredible. Actually I think she played down here this year. Missed the show though unfortunately. Just drive over someday with a hard drive :)

Sorry boys - I was a huge Black Sabbath fan in my teens. They were cutting a new path at the time. That should date me somewhat. They were my no. 1 group through "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath". After that, I felt that they lacked anything for me. Moved on to other music. Saw them in Chicago around 1974. Great memories.

Oh memories! Yes, that's a nice album.

For all the Slayer fans, Dead Skin Mask: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zp_ntrq_K40
It's one of their best pieces, I've listened it today at least 10 times while driving. The bad thing is that sometimes my driving style is synchronized with the music.

Another band that I use to listen in the car is Motorhead (Ace Of Spades, Hellraiser etc.).

I love music in general but my early teens (13-17) were dominated by Slayer, Metallica Megadeth and Sepultura.
I feel so lucky for that.

Dennis DeYoung has one of the best voices out there. He was on a local radio station a few years ago - him and a keyboard and it sounded INCREDIBLE (plus he was hilarious!).

Styx is probably the second best live band I've seen (#1 is Chicago - Tori Amos is a close #3 followed by Hewey Lewis and the News at #4)

Debbie Harry (Blondie) with Robert Zander (Cheap Trick) - starts about 2:30 into it (yes, cheezy movie, but it is great for any music fan):

(Too bad that song never made it on the soundtrack)
