It's not easy to part ways with a parking company after 3 years of stats have accumulated, unless the alternative can promise that results can be delivered.

you have a point, I guess I'd feel the same in your situation. at the same time i believe that the only thing that will make sedo change is massive loss of traffic

just leave sedo, no sense in getting disappointed every day

And go WHERE?

Fab isn't paying any better... ND sucks for CPC... don't even get me started on TrafficClub.

Pretty much everything is DOWN except having a mini site with Adsense/YPN which seems to do pretty well.

So... what do you suggest?

well if the whole industry is down, there's no way to make sedo to pay more... they are just being competative compared to other companies. paying too much is charity. unless you make them lose 10-20% of their traffic through collective action, they will just ignore you.

of course, i still believe there are still ways out of this:

solution 1: try Imonetize. people say that their optimization helps to improve the earnings a lot. im trying them out now, however, it'll take another 20-25 days for my domains to get fully optimized... can't confirm the good news yet
solution 2: buy domains with high traffic and low CPC (EPC) rather than low traffic and high CPC (1000 uniques/day, 0.05$/click versus 10 uniques/day, 5$/click. domains with low CPC don't fluctuate as much as you pretty much get the minimum for each click. this provides stability especially during bad times.
solution 3: find an alternative way to monetize traffic. this is what will bring most money. currently im working on serveral projects and i have good reasons to believe that i'll earn much more compared to usual parking. innovations is the answer. btw, im not talking here about developing full content websites but rather truly alternative ways to monetize traffic

Yesterday down again compared to a week ago , a loss of income of 80 % in one week- at this rate I will be having to pay them them tp park my names - perhaps that is what they are after!

From the 8th of this month to the 9th of this month Sedo revenue took a huge dive and has had erratic spikes since.

All the big $'s spent this year by some companies on huge traffic portfolios could be money down the drain if this is an all round trend.- unhappy shareholders pending ?

I think investors with large traffic portfolios have a lot more say in these issues than we do. besides, why would you ever need sedo if you have loads of traffic?? you can work directly with google

I did not specifically mean Sedo, it would appear that revenue is down accross the board?

If that is the case even via Google direct can we assume that their cut is being reduced?

could be. there's a huge lack of transparency in this industry and none of our predictions can be really confirmed. i think alternative ways to monetize traffic will develop if earnings from parking will continue to fall.

Guess the parking critics were right, parking loses out in the long run. Who wants to see parking pages. It's going downhill... :(

My IDN portfolio's holding a little better - steady mthly increase in traffic is offsetting some of the drops in PPC, but still not enough! Waiting for IE7 auto updates.

I saw a two week dip in my skenzo earnings at the end of summer and that was about it. I find Skenzo is as strong as ever.

What is happening at Sedo seems to be 99% specific to Sedo, and if people continue to "park and prey" with them the more likely it is other parking companies will follow suit and start cutting payouts too.

What the **** is going on with this ppc sponsor? #*@%*@%*(

How in the world can my CTR be down on all my domains by more than half?!?? This is IMPOSSIBLE. Sedo is stealing my money and that's why all my high paying keyword domains are with Parkingdots already. Only my low paying keyword domains are with Sedo and they are going straight to hell.

It is impossible that the CTR drops like this for all my domains. It is simple, Sedo is not reporting many of the clicks, therefore CTR is down but the $/click is the same so that we don't think that they are bamboozling us with the CPC. But they very well are. Instead of CPC this time, they are doing it with CTR.

**** em.

I am already in process of developing my own ppc sponsor. No more bull from these ppc program companies like Sedo. I have such a big marketing idea it will put these guys out of business in less than 24 hours.
