Of course, if you mostly have typo domains and no "strong keyword" generic dotcoms (according to your previous posts at dnf it seems that is the case) you cannot expect a lot from SEDOPRO. It is not cost-effective to spend time dealing with continuous complaints from "low quality/ small portfolio" owners.

My 2 cents.

The Cost effective use of time is a very powerful argument.

My dealings with Sedo to date suggest that they have wasted a great deal of my time for very little benefit.

The funniest part of this thread is the number of whiners complaining about SEDOPRO for months now and still using them because they do not find better elsewhere. Go figure.

Some of us "whiners" have little time to waste on endless tweaks or moving around hundreds of domains, to justify the move unless the shit really hits the fan - as it's the case with Sedo. I've been with Sedo for 3 years, do you really think I cannot compare my earnings month to month? Or do you think that I'm willing to just ditch the historical data of 3 years?

Sedo has gone downhill since February of 2006, and even worse since August 2006.

Hey Tony, the problem with Sedo is not traffic conversion. As long as one's portfolio doesn't consist of crappy names, the clicks are there. However, Sedo's paying fewer and fewer cents per click, whereas it's documented that their piece of the pie from the advertisers' channels is increasing. Sedo claims now that traffic payments are linked to "quality" of traffic. The bottom line is, the average PPC has been in the single digits for quite some time now regardless of Sedo or SedoPro. As I said, this weekend I am moving 650 domains over to NameDrive without any more remorse.

How do you say "moron" in French?

Jacques Clouseau

aammmmmbugerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, haaaaaaaammbugar hambuga

I suddenly have a craving for French Fries

Tony,

I dont know what kind of domains you have not receiving clicks, it sounds like the problem may be your domain(s), A long time ago I picked up a TGP domain from Enoms club drop, paid only 30 bucks for it, it was receiving over 5000 hits per day!, sounds like a great deal right? wrong!, I would be lucky if I got 10 clicks per day out of it, the problem was that visitors were only looking for naughty pictures, not links, so the only money I was making from this domain was from pop-unders....If you want to PM your problem domains, I'll look at them and can tell you what I think.

As I mentioned before, for me at least that;s not the case. My PPC shot down with DS, went down a little with ND, and stayed the same with TC. This last month with Sedo has been a slight improvent, with quite reasonable results. No special sentiments for them, just reality, which I can prove. Maybe due to a small portfolio, or something else.

I'm just wondering if you've compared your PPC decrease with other Parking, since it might be the same all around.

My revenue at Sedopro is doing better than most other providers, opposite that of Acroplex, but I have no reason to doubt what he is saying is true about his declining revenue, simply because there are many factors involved when evaluating the performance of domains, using a variety of providers.

You also have to acknowledge that Sedopro has more problems than most other providers, the complaints on this forum are not without merit, I believe that most Sedo users enjoy many of there functions, such as their powerful utilities providing a wealth of information, enabling the user to correctly optimize there domains, but were also looking for major improvements, venting here on this forum is one powerful way of accomplishing that.

linkguy thats not private.

Back on topic:
I have spent a lot of time moving my domains around including MFA pages which I HATE to begin with but gave it a shot.
The majority of my domains just make more at sedopro. Pretty much all of them. Why? I have no clue.

At any rate my revenue shot up around the August change then slowly corrected but I was still making more pre August changes.

Most of the domains are generic and the traffic for a fw of them is extremely good so maybe that's it? Don't know for sure.

I tried Domain sponsor and did much worse than SP. I tried Trafficz and again much worse and I couldnt get the right ads to show up to save my life. It was the same everywhere else. I just made less $.

This is the same case for me, I listed all my domains at most PPC providers and optimized them, then moved them to different providers by changing the DNS, I've been doing this testing for months now, and have come to the conclusion that Sedopro and Traffic Club had the highest net earnings, DS never worked for me either.

Last time I heard Enom global edit was broken... maybe that's why Acroplex was talking about moving names one by one

So I hope that contradictional posts will come to end. How can someone blame month after month a company staff and still use their services ?

You make a good point :amen:

why would someone complain month after month and not move there domains ?

BTW, from what I recall last yr a Sedo rep actually posted at dnf the ppc payouts they used were subjectively or arbitrarily arrived at and NOT based on the specific click value data from Google.

It would be a good idea to say who you are referring to in this complex thread?
