Things have picked up since the new year! Around 12 deals in the past week (selling).

Nice! Things have really taken a positive turn for me as well since the New Year. Lots of unsolicited interest in a couple of my names, and I'm soon closing on the best sale I have had.

I noticed the same thing with last year. The last 4-5 months of 2007 were abysmal, but as soon as 2008 rolled around, it was as if a switch had been flipped and people were buying again! The New Year brings new energy.

Lowball offers are a plenty...actual sales are still slow for me...

I have done more buying than anything...

We can include brokering too as part of a business activity level measure. I brokered two Grande deals in the fall. Of course I would rather have had those deals be just mine, but it good to do business no matter what kind it is.

But I am renewing almost none of my domains right now, lots of .com drops.

And DomainFest will be very interesting to watch. Will domains sell well in an auction?

I think it will take 12-18 months to see normal activity again personally
I am willing to hold tight until then and pursue my passion and dream of becoming a DJ :)

What type of music you play Robert?

DomainsForFood.COM is taken though. - The Future: Sells for $7.5 Million in 2011. Of course, that will actually be $9.00 by then! Some hard wheeling and dealing for a loaf of slightly stale bread and a can of cat food makes this a prime sale!
