it is a percent- with 1.00 beingg the maximum thresh hold-
also, we were discussngg this on namepros this week- the buyer can NOT use his charge card to fund tthe sale. so if you are doing a sale, and you want the buyer to pay with mass pay, the money has to be in the paypal account already. in other words, no cc chargebacks.

Thanks Stian! I've been wondering how to do that but was too lazy to look into it :)

Did it once with help from a fellow DNF'er but forgot ... thanks for the refresher.
It worked for XXXX.XX and I was only charged $1.

PayPal should only take a maximum of 5% in fees (the highest I've paid is around 4.5%) - how come they are taking "most of" that amount?

Could you post the fee breakdown? (When viewing the transaction, press the question mark next to the total fee amount).

This is very cool to learn about! After being a freebie member for a long time it's good to get started learning the ins and outs of the trade.

What a great post!

Would mass pay be safe for transactions in the $x,xxx and $xx,xxx range?
I've done multiple 4 & 5 digit payments in the same mass pay file without any issues. Works slick.

paypal should make it easier to use mass pay. everybody write them. if there was an extra check-box or simpler method for casual buyers it would be a plus. our experience is that half the buyers end up paying the "old-fashioned" paypal way due to complications.
